If you own a Mahindra tractor, or a model that we don’t currently make a kit for, you still have options. For most tractors with less than 25 GPM of pump flow, we have a kit for you! Please note that hydraulic hoses are sold separately in our universal kits.

One of our best-selling kits is our D03 style 15 GPM Third Function Kit! If you are in need of a kit, hurry as these sell fast! For tractors that exceed 15 GPM of pump flow, we also carry a 25 GPM version.

Need a valve with built-in pressure relief? We recommend our Monoblock style 13 GPM or 21 GPM kits! To add another valve downstream from your current valve, you will need this 13 GPM power beyond plug or a 21 GPM plug. If your tractor is a closed center system then you will require a 13 GPM closed center plug or a 21 GPM plug.

How do I hook up your 3rd function valve kit to my tractor?

All Summit Hydraulics Third Function Kit orders contain detailed instructions on how to install the kit to your model tractor. You will receive a one-page instruction with a QR code. Scan the code with your smartphone and you can then view your instructions digitally, or print them at your leisure.

There are a few ways to set up a third function valve. It’s typically connected to the power beyond port of your loader valve, but it can also be hooked up directly to your hydraulic pump. Below are examples of our Summit Hydraulics valve installed downstream or upstream of your loader valve, and the differences if you have rear remotes, a backhoe, or a 3-point hitch installed.
