Hydraulic Multipliers

What is a Hydraulic Multiplier?

A hydraulic multiplier is a hydraulic diverter selector valve that allows you to easily add additional rear remotes to your tractor. Keep in mind that this isn’t a hydraulic control valve. This means the hydraulic multiplier does not control the fluid in and out of a cylinder (see our control valves), only what cylinders will receive the fluid from a control valve already installed. Our two circuit hydraulic multiplier valves at Summit Hydraulics are specifically designed to attach to the rear remotes of tractors. Our 3, 4,and 6 circuit multipliers can mount to your machine with a bracket, then attach to your rear remotes with hydraulic hoses. With our switchbox control, you can select circuit 1, circuit 2, or both circuits, sending fluid to both attachments connect at the same time.

We also carry manual hydraulic multiplier valves. The handle rotates 45 deg to switch between Circuit 1 and Circuit 2. These valves possess a capacity for up to 20 GPM Hydraulic Flow & 3000 PSI.

Yes, these valves are designed to attach to the rear remotes of tractors in order to easily add additional rear remotes. The remote is controlled from the same lever, and each one is selected using the control switch (solenoid operated valve) or control lever (manually operated valve).

The standard couplers that are included in our multiplier kits are the Push/Pull 1/2″ Body Pioneer (Agricultural) Style Couplers. As an alternative we do offer an option for John Deere “Old Style” Couplers if needed. If you’re unsure about quick coupler styles and sizes please view our Quick Coupler FAQ Page. In the HM2 Kit, two male couplers are included in the kit which should directly attach to your current rear remotes, and four female couplers are included to then run hoses to your implements.

This is a universal valve kit and is designed to be used with all models and makes of tractors. There are three factors that determine if it will work with your machine if you’re still unsure.

  1. Flow through your current rear remotes
Our Hydraulic Multiplier kits have a max flow of 20 GPM (or 40 GPM with this kit), which will be fine for the vast majority of machines on the market. If your unsure about flow, please visit tractordata.com, find your machine, and look for “pump flow”. If it’s less than 20 GPM our valves will work great.
  2. Spacing of your current rear remotes
Standard spacing center-to-center on your rear remote quick connections should be 2″-2.5″. If your remotes are outside of that range, then you can purchase our Universal Adapter which gives you a range of 1.25″ – 8″.
  3. Type of couplers on your current rear remotes

If you’ve checked these three points, our multiplier kits will work for you.

The 2 Circuit Hydraulic Multiplier (HM2) is designed to plug directly into the rear remotes on your tractor with no mounting brackets needed. On the 3 Circuit (HM3), 4 circuit (HM4), and 6 circuit (HM6), the valve must be mounted to your machine and hoses run to your rear remotes. In many of our kits a bracket is included, but can be purchased individually as well.
